SIMUN X

SILTMUN II, the second annual conference co-hosted by Saint Ignatius and Lyons Township High School will take place on February 4th, 2012 at LTHS in La Grange, Illinois. SILTMUN is a smaller conference with an emphasis on crisis cabinets that will challenge veteran delegates and newcomers alike. Please visit the SILTMUN conference website for further information about registration, committees and cabinets, and topics to be discussed.

Background Guides have been posted for the following committees: DISEC, French Revolution cabinets, IAEA, ICJ, Intergalactic High Council (future simulation), OPEC, Security Council, and the UN Human Rights Council. The remaining guides and a schedule for the conference will be posted very soon.  The SIMUN X staff is greatly anticipating November 5th. See you there!

Registration for SIMUN X is now available. SIMUN X will be on November 5, 2011 at Saint Ignatius College Prep on Chicago’s Near West Side. We anticipate over 500 delegates for SIMUN X and will be hosting 17 committees to accommodate all of our delegations. Because of SIMUN’s rapid growth, we urge you to register as soon as possible to secure your spot at the SIMUN conference.

Welcome to the SIMUN X website! We are very excited to host the tenth SIMUN conference and we hope you will be able to attend. SIMUN is usually held on the first Saturday of November, so please keep this date free. Registration materials as well as finalized information will be available in the summer.
